We are proud to introduce Judge Angela Lancelin, a shining example of hope and excellence, who assumed leadership of the 245th Court on January 1, 2023. With her term extending until 2027, Judge Lancelin brings a wealth of experience in civil, family, and criminal law, backed by her diverse background that includes 29 years of litigation experience—26 of those as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Texas Attorney General. Her extensive litigation roles include serving as the special litigator for Texas Regions 6, 5, and 20. Born in Los Angeles and a graduate of the University of San Diego and Texas Southern University, Judge Lancelin’s professional and academic achievements are matched by her commitment to diversity, integrity, and transparency in the courtroom. As a single mother, she models these values daily, striving to create a space in her court where all parties can voice their concerns freely and access justice equally.
Introducing Judge Angela Graves-Harrington, a beacon of hope who took the helm of the 246th Court on January 1, 2019, and following her 2022 re-election, will continue to serve until 2026. As the founding attorney of the Law Offices of Angea L. Graves-Harrington, she brought extensive experience in civil, family, and criminal law, reinforced by her licenses to practice across multiple jurisdictions within Texas and beyond. A recipient of full scholarships at Mississippi State University and Thurgood Marshall School of Law, her academic journey is as impressive as her professional endeavors.
Dedicated to nurturing trauma-informed practices within Harris County’s child welfare system, Judge Graves-Harrington has led initiatives such as providing free, 8-hour trauma-informed training sessions for child welfare professionals and presiding over one of the six trauma-informed courts designated by the Supreme Court of Texas Children’s Commission. Additionally, her role extends to the 2023 Executive Judicial Board as the Family Division Administrative Judge, underscoring her profound commitment to family law and welfare.
Judge Julia Maldonado, a figure of resilience and dedication in the family court landscape. Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Judge Maldonado stands as the most senior judge on the family court bench in Harris County, Texas. With a robust educational background including a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown and a JD from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, her expertise spans over 17 years in Family, Criminal, and Probate law.
Having been elected Judge of the 507th Family Court in 2016, Judge Maldonado brings firsthand experience and an unwavering commitment to ensuring the child's best interests are central to every decision. Although she has ventured into various public offices, even running for the Texas Supreme Court, her heart remains with family law—a field where she is highly respected.
Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and a proud Houstonian for almost fifty years, Judge Maldonado’s life story is one of perseverance and dedication. As a mother and grandmother, her personal experiences enrich her professional role, enabling her to approach each case not only as a legal professional but as a guardian of family bonds.

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
This is a content preview space you can use to get your audience interested in what you have to say so they can’t wait to learn and read more. Pull out the most interesting detail that appears on the page and write it here.
